the genius of Mogu Takahashi

I first found Mogu Takahashi while browsing through flickr. I was instantly in love.

Mogu lives and works in Tokyo. She often collages with cardboard and makes "friends" from socks and other sewn bits- they are GENIUS. There are so many details to find, I'm especially enamored with the little sign necklaces that some of her creations wear!

Looking at her work really makes me want to draw and paste and paper mache! I am overwhelmed by the rich personality and heart in everything she makes.
