Mister Rogers would be turning 84 years old today.
He's a hero of mine. A true pioneer. I am re-posting a video I posted long ago of Mister Rogers speaking at the 1969 senate hearings. It always makes me cry.
I'll leave you with some words:
“You’ve made this day a special day, by just your being you. There’s no person in the whole world like you, and I like you, just the way you are.”

Once in a while I will witness something that is so perfect in every way (to me) it is so overwhelming and consuming.
Meadham Kirchoff's spring/summer 2012 collection did that to me today. I wish my entire wardrobe was Meadham
Kirchoff. Too much for some, I know, but if you know me at all, you know that this is so connected to my heart.

My pal and I braved MOMA the other night to see the de Kooning show. It was super crowded, so the visit was brief. I think I'll go back. The exhibit was set up beautifully and was crazy to see the evolution of his work. Some of it I love and some of it I absolutely do not like. Here are 2 of my favorite works from the exhibit (and probably that I have seen of de Kooning in general!)
